Media War !


These days the most favorite topic on almost every mainstream news channel is Iran, its election and its discrepancies, depending on which news channel we might be watching, we get different reports, to understand the massive differences in the coverage of this event, lets take a second look. We observed the systematic media coverage of certain developments in countries like Ukraine and Georgia in the past and not to forget the coverage of Burma and its unfortunate flood catastrophe (which turned political after 24 hours), in direct comparison to the coverage of the Tsunami in Indonesia. One sees the political doctrine of the 21 century being implemented through radio waves and through satellites, reporting events according to custom made patterns, magnifying events and obvious issues like a floating body (a victim of the flood)into a monstrosity and implies the fault of this to be by the Government which is not in line with the mentioned doctrine, creating artificial sensationalism and by reflecting them into certain areas, hoping to generate some reactionary backlash.

The same could be said about the coverage of Iran's election and its aftermath, the BBC is a well known tool of the British foreign ministry, their arrangement of "You scratch my back and I yours" simplifies itself into the state giving information and cover over almost all international issues, in return from time to time they have to play the propaganda machine for political purposes, CNN and other stations are not much different but their affiliations are not always to Governments like the BBC but to certain political streams like Fox News is to the Republicans and MSNBC to the Democrats. The coverage of Iran and the extremity in which the Demonstrations are presented is hence understandable. Watching Iranian News agencies and Media is also not gratifying, because of their total fixation to neutralize the BBC and other mainstream media, which are actually waging and instigating the unrest and are factually craving to see blood on the streets of Tehran, this might sound biased, but the history of Iran of which I speak
about, confirms the role of Britain and US in the destruction of the hard won democracy in Iran in 1953 and the specific role the BBC played in it, not to forget the 1979 revolution which the BBC actually shepherded the flow of information from one Marxist Leninist group to the other Religious group which at that time, had no contacts with each other.

I recommend "NOT" to believe the Western media regarding the Iranian unrest and "NOT" to believe the Iranian media,they are actually fighting each other.

The truth is somewhere in between.

Chaldoran 1514 AD

It was late summer in the year 1514, and Iran had a new dynasty in power(The Safavid 1501-1722). The distinctive difference here was the fact that the Safavids were the first "Shia" dynasty that used all methods in the book to convert all Iranians into a homogeneous religion, since the "Iranshahr" factor (which was the name that Iranians used for their country) did not seem enough to mobilize a sense of national unity to refute new national threats, mainly the Afghans and the Turks. Wikihoax on Iran

Here are some of the supposed leaks on Iran, mixed with some true ones concerning other countries and their heads of states or controversial ministers (of course harmless ones), making it a bit problematic and that much harder for consumers of such information to "not" believe. Always remember,the most talked about issue amongst all heads of states without exception is and has been the mother of all conflicts (namely the Israeli & Palestinian conflict). Yet there is not a single word issued from anywhere or anyone, not even sworn enemies of one or the other states.... If that did not give you a reason to doubt then nothing else shall.
