The most powerful man in Iraq

Image
Perhaps the most powerful man in Iraq today is not any Iraqi Govt. official,, nor any militia member and certainly not any US military or British military commander... it is a certain Iranian Brigadier General with the name of Qassem Soleimani. He enters the Green Zone at will and organizes and orchestrates war and peace, conflict and calm, political rise or fall of peoples or organizations in Iraq. Needless to say that certain high ranking Iraqi officials have more than once claimed to have been asked by the US military commanders or diplomats to ask the General for different favors and actions in return for actions and favors. The latest Sadr Conflict was dampened because of his interference. He is nothing more or less in direct comparison to some CIA or MI5 regional operative that like in India instigate religious divisions after the independence thrive by Gandhi or the sectarian strife created by the CIA in Lebanon to weaken any resistance to unite, above all the division of the

Deutsche Bank and Iran

Ever since the US sponsored sanctions are being implemented by the US allies, one started to realize that nobody really followed up on them. The US Govt. then started pressurizing the private sector to hook certain preconditions on new deals when dealing with European financial entities like the Deutsche Bank. divestments is the unword of this latest AIPAC plan to compromise Iran's Nuclear aspirations. As the US economy started to plunge in a recession, and all those divestments initiated by the Israeli interest groups in the US started to back fire on the economy, one realized what limits actually the US economy had. Thus now with this new initiative holding German banks at a ransom not to deal with Iran and the speculations that Deutsche Bank has been promised support should they decide to freeze Iranian assets and actually work with them and earn through them as the US has been doing with Billions of Iranian assets for decades. The Iranians across the spectrum private or non

US and Britain make united stand on Iran

Every time these 2 alpha elements in the world politics unite against Iran, It usually means Iran must be doing something right. A few examples would be, /The nationalization of Iran's Oil Industry where the two above stage a coup to destroy the democracy that was flourishing in Iran's 1953 and thus prolonged a few years the acual happening of it. / The Iran and Saddams war where the two above were united in helping the Iraqis kill Iranians. and there are dozens of other examples... One thing all these issues had in common, and that was they were very very pro Iranian. The US and UK are no friends of Iran and Iranians, have never been and shall never be.. they truly should be confronted with wisdom. One wishes Iran a good hand in their game of politics with them.

Iran holds the key to stability in Iraq

It's too bad Gen. David Petreaus and U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker have to come all the way from Baghdad this week to Congress. it is well known, their testimony will change little. Bush won't shift course before his term ends. Troops will draw down some, but not below the so called pre surge levels, the US military will remain overstretched. The possibility of shaping a different Iraq won't emerge until a new president is elected. Meantime, the realities on the ground were brutally laid bare over the past two weeks by the fighting in Basra, Iraq's security situation is the same as ever , and remains volatile. The hope of improved security that would enable Iraqi factions to unite, and the Iraqi army to take over security is as far a dream as the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was. That brings Iran into this equilibrium. The only stable, strong and clever player in this attempted robbery of Oil wealth by the US interest group running the show in the US. Giv
