USA and Racism

Racism has been a major issue in America since the colonial era. Historically, the country has been dominated by a settler society of religiously and ethnically diverse Whites . Major racially structured institutions include slavery, settlement, Indian reservations, segregation, residential schools and internment camps(Indians). Racial stratification has occurred in employment, housing, education and government. Although racial discrimination was largely criminalized in the mid-20th century, major inequalities persist.

The heaviest burdens of racism in the country have fallen upon Native Amis, Asian Amis, Blacks, Latinos and some other immigrants and their descendants. Racist attitudes, and prejudice are still held by substantial portions of the population. Members of every American ethnic group have perceived racism in their dealings with other groups.

These are some of the facts, and the fact that the US Administration counter argues against official impeachments by the independent human rights groups that we are free and equal, because we are "OPEN" about it (Racism)... is nothing but a sign of acknowledgment, and furthermore a sign of tolerance...... and considering the present US regime (Bush & Chenney) or should I rather say (Chenney & Bush) a sign of unadulterated ignorance.

Placing a Black Foreign minister that actually is only there to do as he or she is told.. is not an argument that would hold anywhere. /Powel with his UNSC debacle and Rice with her personal antipathy against Iranians (she had an Iranian boyfriend who dumped her, because his mother didn't like him marrying such an ugly girl, quote, "he could do better"... which was relayed to Rice by a common friend but instead of "ugly" this friend said "Black" girl.....)

Whatever the case, the Americans who happen to influence the whole world with their votes should start Voting a bit more responsibly and may be prove to the World that they want "Change" and Vote Obama into the White house... maybe they(Americans) will get rewarded with the respect they so pathologically crave for throughout the world.

Obama is good...he hates his past with islam and is so ashamed that he kicks out muslims when photographing. I am voting for him as he is the most suitable Christian to rid the world of evil islam.
