Neo-Con Salafis


Some Yamin Zakaria once wrote this, this is some extracts of it ...

"When Iraq was attacked by the US-led coalition in 1991, these Salafi ‘scholars’ nearly choked trying to utter the word Jihad. Instead they gurgled and legitimised fighting the Muslims of Iraq under the American flag; some even saw ‘Jihad’ behind American troops in 1991! If fighting behind the Americans is Jihad, surely the likes of Bush and Sharon (a close ally of the US) are the Ameers (leaders) of Jihad! In reality this is Jihad in reverse gear, as the Muslims are the intended victims.

It was those same American troops that continued to commit the atrocities in Iraq, through enforcing the self-styled no-fly zone, and the cruel economic sanctions with direct cooperation from the Salafi orientated regimes. Then came the second invasion in 2003, the US troops committed atrocities in places like Abu-Ghraib, Baghdad, Fallujah, and Ramadi. To humiliate the Arab world, they deliberately taped and aired the sadistic torture of Iraqis. In Haditha they gang raped a young girl and killed her along with her family, one of many such brutal crimes."

The guy goes on and on...If I were an Arab.. I would feel the urge to do something about it. Luckily I am not :)

It was late summer in the year 1514, and Iran had a new dynasty in power(The Safavid 1501-1722). The distinctive difference here was the fact that the Safavids were the first "Shia" dynasty that used all methods in the book to convert all Iranians into a homogeneous religion, since the "Iranshahr" factor (which was the name that Iranians used for their country) did not seem enough to mobilize a sense of national unity to refute new national threats, mainly the Afghans and the Turks. Wikihoax on Iran

Here are some of the supposed leaks on Iran, mixed with some true ones concerning other countries and their heads of states or controversial ministers (of course harmless ones), making it a bit problematic and that much harder for consumers of such information to "not" believe. Always remember,the most talked about issue amongst all heads of states without exception is and has been the mother of all conflicts (namely the Israeli & Palestinian conflict). Yet there is not a single word issued from anywhere or anyone, not even sworn enemies of one or the other states.... If that did not give you a reason to doubt then nothing else shall.
