Religion simplified

So many different religions all across the world, dictating and encouraging ideologies and world viewings on a daily basis on peoples. Prohibiting the consumption of certain foods and deeds, whilst encouraging the adoption of certain virtues, admittedly many positive and seldom negative regardless of which religions one thinks and believes to belong to. Looking at all these religions, one realizes them all to be the same in content but all in different colors, which people with higher intellectual abilities tend to use on people intellectually less blessed by simplifying yet manipulating the understandings of their subjects to consider other colors as enemies.

However, our point of interest is less the political potentials of religious abuse, but a hypothesis about the whole phenomenon of “religion” and people. Using the informations at our disposal, like the “Quran”, “Bible” and “Torah”, we realize humanity to have been blessed with 124,000 prophets.The above mentioned books (each written years after the death of the respective prophet) are the manifestations of the last three prophets upon humanity, yet each book have been edited and reedited throughout the times, selectively interpreted by leaders of different epochs and permanently changed for good, parallel and alternative books with authentic or different versions of events were systematically eradicated . As a result prophets became Gods and anyone associated with any change and reinterpretation of centuries old commandments was suddenly a saint.

Wandering through Catholic countries, we see in the so called “Cathedrals” statues of different saints, each representing a different “Patron Saint” and we see people at their feet begging for fortune or salvation. The same applies in a different color (different religion) all across the world by Jews and Moslems, and a bit more radical by Hindus and Buddhists. If we look and study the ancient pagan rituals and traditions or the ancient Greek and Roman mythologies with their Gods and heroes, we must see the similarities in human behavior. Could it be that the 124,000 prophets consisted of similar important and powerful prophets as the last few, yet through the times it all decayed and perverted at the hands and minds of mankind until it ended as stoned idols like Zeus, Anahita and etc.. The similarities are striking when we look at our fellow humans at the feet of statues of Jesus and Maria.

In all the idealizing and worshiping, all the humanistic ethical manifestations, we seem all to have forgotten “God” whose source of inspiration was supposed to have been the main objective, but since rulers and politicians could not maintain control over the minds, religions could have been formed and reformed to create and guide the souls of subjects to a point where many would kill or die for it. Again admittedly, there are many ethically tenable features there but also so much superstitions and fanaticism, simply incompatible with the human nature that one must simply question its morality.
