Forced defection !
The videos underneath are two completely different versions of the story of a young Iranian scientist who disappeared while on a pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. His story is known amongst those interested, his name "Shahram Amiri". He reveals in this tape of his abduction, torture and transport to the US, he was probably clever enough to play the relieved and that of the liberated in order to get the breathing space needed to make and smuggle a tape to Iran, thus securing his survival. Judging from the almost immediate emergence of a new tape claiming exactly the opposite.... I suppose he is not so free to move anymore. The second interview was suppose to refute the Iranian Video.
Any one who knows the A-B-C of such political tug of "media" war, would immediately realize that the man was kidnapped and he cleverly played along, he used the space and informed his country of his situation hoping for Iran to follow up on his case. The US side on the other hand, kept blocking and would not accept Iran's allegations and so Iran decided to publish its proof... now everyone knows of his case, and Shahram's situation has only tactically improved. Lets hope he can be returned safely home to his family, and not be tortured any further (as stated in his first tape). This kind of abductions should not be allowed to become a tool of politics and following up on it is every diplomats duty, regardless of nationality. If ignored, the next scientist or human right activist or any other unique personality could be the next target.
Here are the tapes, make your own thoughts..
In the meantime there is a third tape, and in this third tape he states that only the first tape was authentic and the second tape was forced by the CIA and now he has escaped the CIA officers and is in constant danger... he requests help (there is no English subtitled version of it,until there is take my word for it)

The answer is actually simple, when you accept Iran not to be the hell western media insist it to be.
whatever the case, Iran won this round.
