Evil...Evil Wahabis (Saudis) III

Donors in Saudi Arabia have notoriously played a pivotal role in creating and maintaining Sunni jihadist groups over the past 30 years. But, for all the supposed determination of the United States and its allies since 9/11 to fight “the war on terror”, they have showed astonishing restraint when it comes to pressuring Saudi Arabia and the Gulf monarchies to turn off the financial tap that keeps the jihadists in business. Compare two US pronouncements stressing the significance of these donations and basing their conclusions on the best intelligence available to the US government. The first is in the 9/11 Commission Report which found that Osama bin Laden did not fund al-Qa’ida because from 1994 he had little money of his own but relied on his ties to wealthy Saudi individuals established during the Afghan war in the 1980s . Quoting, among other sources, a CIA analytic report dated 14 November 2002, the commission concluded that “al-Qa’ida appears to have relied on a core gr...

Right-wing terrorism!

Germany announced that it will further review almost 750 unsolved murders, manslaughter and attempted killings of the 3300 unsolved murder cases… dating back more than two decades to assess whether they were motivated by far-right extremism…wrote “The Local”. An initial police review of 3,300 such unsolved violent crimes between 1990 and 2011 had found that 746 of them, resulting in 849 deaths, will need a second look to see whether they were racial hate crimes, said the interior ministry. The outcome is expected in the second quarter of next year, said a ministry spokesman, who cautioned that the review does not mean "that they are indeed crimes motivated by right-wing extremism." Current statistics say about 60 people were killed in right-wing crimes since Germany's reunification in 1990.(which is as correct as the US homeless statistics) Critics have long charged that official statistics underestimate the incidence of racist, xenophobic and other...

Iranian documentary

Image
In this following clip, broadcast recently on Iranian National TV, you shall witness a documentary about the fallen founder of Iran’s missile industry, and the founding of the Iranian domestic Missile science and technology. Admitting the existence of some elements of “propaganda” here and there, but considering the anti-propaganda Iran faces from the corporate media, not to mention the dominant western powers… it should simply be accepted and indulged. The message is actually mediating possible consequences in case of a real physical military aggression from any sides, specially from Israel that keeps threatening Iran with death and starvation… Furthermore it is about the late commander and father of Iranian Missile technology, he was a war veteran of a higher military rank, his name was Mr Hassan Tehrani Moghadam. He fell while on duty last year and this clip was made as a tribute to him. ( This is too new to have been edited yet (with English subtitles).. as soon as i...

Saudi Arabia is angry with Washington.  In Riyadh’s view, the U.S. government isn’t doing enough to support tyranny and war in the Middle East.  The Obama administration should tell America’s foreign “friends” that Washington acts in the interests of the American people, not corrupt dictators. Riyadh long has been an embarrassment for the U.S.  Cooperation on issues of mutual interest is a reasonable approach in a region where there are distressingly few genuine “good guys.”  However, U.S. officials have gone much further, lavishing support and attention on their Saudi counterparts.  Indeed, Washington treats the Saudi royals—who oppress and mulct their own people—as, well, royalty.  Riyadh’s former ambassador to America, Bandar bin-Sultan, became one of Washington’s most celebrated and renowned political operators. Some Americans justify Washington’s sycophancy as necessary to protect access to Saudi oil, b...

Delusional old man !

The U.S. benefit from the war in Iraq was that we eliminated the potential for al-Qaeda to get their hands on weapons of mass destruction from Saddam Hussein, according to Dick Cheney …weapons he did not have to begin with. “…That was the threat after 9/11 and when we took down Saddam Hussein we eliminated Iraq as a potential source of that.” Cheney is delusional. He must know that the doctrine of war that says a nation can attack another to “eliminate” a “potential source” of danger is the same doctrine of war that the Nazis were prosecuted for after WWII. Frankly, most contemporary analogies to Hitler or the Nazis are hyperbolic and irrational. But here it is all too appropriate. Cheney has openly argued for the legitimacy of Nazi war crime rationales on national television. Beyond that, Cheney commits the crime of defying basic logic. Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction (the ones used against Iran in the 80's were delivered by the West...

No words needed to introduce this gorgeous young lady. She was on Jon Stewart show and am sure touched many hearts. She is yet another big reason why the Saudi sponsored Terrorists in Syria and Pakistan should not be allowed to prevail. Here is the clip... . . http://www.malalafund.org/

IAEA recklessness !

Image
Considering the apparent prejudice, idiotic political tendencies and recklessness of Yukiya Amano head of the IAEA, I suppose the following letter is very mild indeed. In some quarters, speculations are that his impartiality has been massively compromised from nonmember states. Whatever the case, he  does not posses the bravery needed for this office ! Iran's letter of 12. Sep. 2013 to the IAEA   .

President Hassan Rohani of Iran

Image
By Dr Hassan Rohani President of Iran. Published by the Washington Post Sep. 20 2013 Three months ago, my plaform of “prudence and hope” gained a broad and popular mandate. Iranians embraced my approach to domestic and international affairs because they saw it as long overdue. I’m committed to fulfilling my promises to my people, including my pledge to engage in constructive interaction with the world. The world has changed. International politics is no longer a zero-sum game but a multi-dimensional arena where cooperation and competition often occur simultaneously. Gone is the age of blood feuds. World leaders are expected to lead in turning threats into opportunities. The international community faces many challenges in this new world — terrorism, extremism, foreign military interference, drug trafficking, cybercrime and cultural encroachment — all within a framework that has emphasized hard power and the use of brute force. We must pay attention to the complex...
