Top 10 Anti-Iranian Propaganda

Western News Outlets : Iran is aggressive and has threatened to attack Israel, its neighbours or the U.S. Fact : Iran has not launched an aggressive war in modern history (unlike the U.S. or Israel), and its leaders have a doctrine of "no first strike." This is true of Supreme religious leader Khamenei as well as of Revolutionary Guards. Western News Outlets : Iran is a militarized society bristling with dangerous weapons and a growing threat to world peace. Fact : Iran's military budget is a little over $6 billion annually. Sweden, Singapore and Greece all have larger military budgets. Moreover, Iran is a country of 70 million, so that its per capita spending on defense is tiny compared to these others, since they are much smaller countries with regard to population. Iran spends less per capita on its military than any other country in the Persian Gulf region with the exception of the United Arab Emirates. New Minister of Foreign Affairs

Image
Iran’s President dismissed Dr. Manouchehr Mottaki for reasons not quite yet known to the public and probably will be considered (as always) a 5 to 12 issue by the "Western Press" who will undoubtedly bore the world over with speculations of internal fighting and imminent disintegration of regimes, countries and continents. Furthermore, Ahmadinejad appointed a Dr A.A. Salehi in an acting capacity. Mottaki has been the Foreign Minister of Iran since 24 August 2005. He was the only Minister who was not replaced in Ahmadinejad's Cabinet after Ahmadinejad's reelection. Salehi will be Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs until Ahmadinejad nominates a person to the Iranian Parliament for approval.(has 6 months time ) Dr. A.A.Salehi is an Iranian politician, diplomat and academic and the current acting Minister of foreign affairs (13 December 2010). He is also the Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran since 16 July 2009. He was Iranian Representative in the IAEA from 1997

Law is reason, free from passion !

Not being a jurist, means one ought to keep oneself from judging. Aristotle is known to have said: Law is reason, free from passion , but in the case of this woman "S. Ashtiani" pro and contra politics seems to have inflamed passions making any reasonable justice impossible. Do not feel obliged to judge, just watch and exhale.

Western media hypocrisy

That the Arab rulers are hostile to Iran is not news to Iranians. The hostility is centuries-old. What is disturbing however,is that the U.S. mainstream media has used the recent leaked private sentiments of Arab Kings and rulers by Wikileaks to advance the narrative that the neoconservatives, the Israel lobby, and the War Party have developed about Iran, namely, that Iran is a threat to the non-existent stability of the Middle East and non-existent “peace process” between Israel and the Palestinians, and that its non-existent nuclear weapons program is a security threat to the U.S. allies in that region and beyond. That those Arab rulers do not dare to make the same statement publicly because that would make them Israel’s bedfellows, not to mention the fact that Iran’s tough stance on Israel is hugely popular with the Arab masses, only indicates the utter dishonesty of such U.S. allies. But the mainstream media has also demonstrated its moral bankruptcy by failing to talk about the

Western State Terrorism !

A group of masked assassins/murderers on motorcycles pulls up to an idling car. Inside the car is a nuclear scientist and his wife. One of the assassins/murderers reaches out and attaches a magnetic bomb to the side of the car. The bomb explodes, killing the scientist and wounding his wife. A plume of black smoke rises to the sky as the masked assassins/murderers speed away. No, this is not a sneak peak at the script to the latest Bond movie. This incredible series of events actually happened in Tehran/Iran last Monday. Twice.... Dr. Majid Shahriari, one of Iran's top nuclear scientists, and his colleague at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Dr. Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, were separately but simultaneously attacked by unidentified assassins riding motorcycles. The assailants attached bombs to each man's car and then sped off as the bombs detonated. Dr. Shahriari was killed. Dr. Abbasi-Dayani and his wife, as well as Dr. Shahriari's wife, were all badly injured. Shahriar

Wikihoax on Iran

Here are some of the supposed leaks on Iran, mixed with some true ones concerning other countries and their heads of states or controversial ministers (of course harmless ones), making it a bit problematic and that much harder for consumers of such information to "not" believe. Always remember, the most talked about issue amongst all heads of states without exception is and has been the mother of all conflicts (namely the Israeli & Palestinian conflict). Yet there is not a single word issued from anywhere or anyone, not even sworn enemies of one or the other states.... If that did not give you a reason to doubt then nothing else shall. When something smells like a fish, swims like a fish, then it must be a fish. This Wikileaks business has been the target of an article by this site (Here) So needless to emphasize anymore about disbelieving the authenticity of the content of wikileaks concerning Iran. Nonetheless, here are the Iran related ones. US Embassy Ottawa (2008) .. T
