Noam Chomsky is an American all round wiz, a Professor at "MIT" (Massachusetts institute of technology) and known by the community as the father of modern linguistics. Our point of interest in him is his political analysis of world affairs, they are blunt, accurate and almost prophetic in certain aspects. Since the 60's his outspoken political views and publications, has earned him the title of "Political dissident", sometimes an anarchist, but always an intellectual of liberal socialism. I have embedded an interview of Noam Chomsky underneath, its around an hour long, but worth watching and getting to know one of the worlds last fearless heavyweight intellectuals, He is 80 years old and who knows how much longer his senses will play along....

"BART"(Bay Area Rapid Transit) police officers in Oakland USA committed the most unnecessary act there could possibly be , they simply shot their suspect in the back as he was laying on his stomach with his hands up as requested and enforced. It would have been one of those things that usually happens to Black citizens in the US and the police would initiate an investigation with inconclusive results after everyone had calmed down. BUT this time a mobile phone recording of the incident made sure the victim became a name (Oscar Grant) and a face. The recording below is the actual shooting and as it was shown to "Gary Gee" the BART chief, he had the audacity to call it inconclusive (as expected)....it is a simple matter "cop stands up... points his gun.... and shoots" judge for yourselves....

As Israel runs out of places and things to bomb in Gaza, the western mass media somehow tries to minimalize and trivialize the outcry, disgust and shock of the world public reaction. Today I heard in the news throughout the west of a few thousands here and a few hundred there, the fact that the western media persists of giving numbers, indicates the massive and unprecedented human waves on the streets, the unfair insistence in limiting public outcry reminds one of shepherded news coverage.
